There's plenty to keep you interested during your stay. Feel free to wander around the grounds and enjoy the atmosphere.

Explore the folly and the 10 acres of gardens including over 600 roses in the formal rose garden. The stable quadrangle is well worth seeing with its clock tower, stables, coach houses, blacksmiths shop and grooms quarters and the harness and saddle rooms. You can even make friends with the peacocks.

Exploring

Anlaby also makes the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Historic Kapunda, one of South Australia's first mining centres, is just 15 minutes away and in only 20 minutes you're in Nurioopta and the wineries of the Barossa. The Clare wine area is 40 minutes away. Your hosts Ian and Johanna will be happy to help plan your trips to surrounding districts.
